SAGITTARIUS Participates in the Second Diagnosis and Treatment Refractory Cancers Cluster Annual Meeting

The SAGITTARIUS project joined fellow Horizon Europe Cancer Mission initiatives at the second annual meeting of the “Diagnosis and Treatment – Refractory Cancers” Cluster, held in person at the Charité Cross Over building in Berlin and online. The meeting brought together representatives from the 13 projects that make up the Cluster, with the aim of sharing progress, aligning on common deliverables, and strengthening collaboration across initiatives. Discussions focused on the status of each project, updates on shared outputs such as the Data Management Plan, Communication Plan, and Common Work Plan, and the advancement of thematic working groups.

Throughout the day, round table sessions addressed key cross-cutting topics including research and innovation, communication and citizen engagement, inequalities in cancer care, and collaborative data frameworks. These discussions contributed to the development of joint conclusions and policy recommendations that will inform future actions within the Cluster and support the broader goals of the EU Cancer Mission.

The meeting reaffirmed the Cluster’s commitment to fostering synergies between projects and promoting a coordinated, patient-centered approach to cancer diagnosis and treatment across Europe.
